Cheetah Cancer Treatment

Spread the love

Bongani  the cheetah has been limping again and Dr Peter Rogers at the Kapama Game Reserve is worried that the cancer the big cat has suffered in the past may have returned. An examination is required, but its not easy – you can’t just ask a cheetah to lie down quietly on the couch, instead a tranquilizer is needed.

Jabu the baby elephant who was rescued from being stuck in a water hole gets his first feed of the day.

Later Dr Rogers goes to pick up two orphaned cheetah cubs who are lucky to survive as the species has grown weaker through lack of genetic diversity and Jabu, the baby elephant, gets up to his usual antics on an evening walk.
